Platinum Centenary - BTS Style

After days of searching I finally managed to track down one of two BTS buses tastefully rebranded for HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee - the first of a British monarch marking seventy years on the throne - since 1952. The purple embellishment and tasteful signage was added to two of the ADL double deck members of the BTS fleet which have been seen (but not by me) in regular service on different routes in recent days. Number 423 had in fact suffered some form of electrical fault while in service at Layton and conveniently placed itself at a bus stop next to Layton roundabout when I happened to be passing by.

The author poses for the birdie with the driver taking the photo and a Rigby Road mechanic? attends to the problem just off camera. The purple adjustment makes a definite improvement to the BTS corporate styling. More please ! And possibly applied to a tram?
