Not Forgetting Centenary 642

Some readers of this Blog may be perplexed at not seeing Centenary 642 profiled in recent editions covering the Centenary class. Not wishing to omit this fine preserved (and operating) example here it is in recent years with its equally recently applied promotional features. Both 642 and 641 were given the same (initial) midlife makeovers with revised destination indicators and roofline panels to aid external advertising and sponsor revenue. Now an essential member of the BTS Heritage fleet it provides a taste of tram travel during the 1980s - nearly forty years ago : time does fly.
