Some very smart marketing type at Rigby Road has moved quickly to make sure that most, if not all, of BTS buses now carry 'ITS COMING HOME' on their electronic destination boards ahead of the vehicle's destination. In anticipation of the next great match being played at Wembley this Wednesday against Denmark - and fingers crossed the final game in the tournament against Italy or Spain.

It is worth recalling that under Steve Burd's management, Blackpool trams were emblazoned with painted signage supporting England's football team in the World Cup competition. Whilst the FHLT made a point of painting their Centenary Car 641 in Blackpool's tangerine colours with multiple signs and photos of past glories.
