1960 and a promenade bound rail coach crosses the Promenade to take up duties from Marton Depot. Photo : John Woodman Sixty years on trams will again be turning into Talbot Square from the Promenade at the same spot. This time they will have the benefit of traffic light control - just hoping that promenade road traffic will give way to trams crossing.
